back to school and i still haven't cleared my table... ugh. anyway on fri it's all talks, quite boring but the SC tried to be entertaining. everyone thought he was lame and he was, but if it wasn't for his lameness i think we'll be even more bored so in a way it's good. haha. the talks quite informative and the teachers seem really nice, though the arts hod like quite strict (scary). i really like the sci hod; she's so funny and friendly. i didn't quite know what sub to take and kept debating between phy and bio, and econs and lit. didn't want to take bio chem cuz usually people drop bio when taking trip sci so i guess bio more diff. on the other hand, my phy in sec school not very good... both quite interesting but the bio syllabus seem more familar as we'd done some of the backgrd in o levels bio. anyway it shouldn't matter unless i really want to go into life sci/med etc in uni.
by afternoon we were really sian, so many talks. luckily got a short break den the SC played a game, like put black tape on a body part of people den get them to connect the black tapes. they got 16 people on stage, 8 people on each side lined up facing each other. den they supposed to run towards each other and find a partner to connect the black tape. the pair with the most interesting position wins. there's a few rounds and a pair gets sent off each round. some of the positions were quite.. err.. het/gay/les and the gay one usually gets the loudest applause. reminds me of qaf as i was watching save the last dance for me vid the night before ( i shall not go on abt how cute they look). so there's this two guys who kept partnering together; one guy had black tape on his cheek, the other on his mouth; den some1 (one of the SC/OGL hiding at the back of the audi) called for mouth to mouth, and they were so sporting that they did it. haha. some pple were grossed out and i thought, 'too bad angell wasn't here.' haha. they did it 2 more times since the SC couldn't decide the winner, once in slow motion and once more w/o the tape (but i don't think they did kiss w/o the tape; cant really see as one of the guys was abit lying, supported by the other guy's arm and blocked by his body/head.) it really was awfully sporting of them and quite bad of the SC/OGL... =x at least every1 was revived from boredom. ;)
we had cca tour on sat and there's quite a few i'm interested in so i'm planning to go for their first meeting/pract to help myself decide. junie wanted me to join squash but i don't really want to, even if it is as an associate player; i'm not a very good player and dont want to play in compt at this standard just because i'm one of the few who has backgrd and would be better (theoretically) than those just starting out. it's just the principle of things. think i'll be going down one of these days to play with junie and see how i compare before deciding.
